Dr. Je-Jung Lee, MD & PhD, is Professor of Hematology-Oncology at Chonnam National University Medical School and Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital, and the founder of Vaxcell-Bio Therapeutics (KOSDAQ-listed). He served as President of the Korean Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation (2023–2024) and previously chaired its Cell Therapy-Immunotherapy Board. With research experience spanning the National Cancer Center Tokyo and the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, his work focuses on NK cell therapy, CAR cell platforms, dendritic cell immunotherapy, and multiple myeloma. He led Korea’s first completed Phase 2a autologous NK cell therapy trial for hepatocellular carcinoma, achieving a 100% Disease Control Rate and earning the Excellence Presentation Award at KSMO 2023.
