Tae-Ho Hwang
Chief Technology Officer Bionoxx
Tae-Ho Hwang is a Professor at Pusan National University School of Medicine and Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer of Bionoxx. He has over 20 years of experience in translational immunology, clinical pharmacology, and oncolytic virotherapy, including investigator-led and regulatory-approved clinical studies involving oncolytic vaccinia virus platforms.
He is currently leading a Phase 1 proof-of-concept cancer virotherapy study in close consortium with university hospitals in the Busan region under U.S. FDA and Korea MFDS regulatory authorization. His work focuses on translational and reverse translational studies addressing complex immune regulatory mechanisms in cancer immunotherapy.
Through the BNX-IFS™ platform, he aims to support not only Bionoxx’s OTS-412 clinical program but also potential strategic collaborations with global pharmaceutical companies for immunotherapy proof-of-concept studies and biomarker discovery substudies.
